Metlogix software applications can be found on many new Starrett, Vision Engineering, and S-T Industries optical measuring products. It is also available for retrofit on many common optical comparators, manual vision systems and now manual CMMs.  You can find training and support for the Metlogix M2 and Metlogix M3 software applications here at Inspection Engineering.  Training and support services can be schedule in one of our tech centers or at your facility.

Metologix M3 training for Video Comparators (Starrett HDV Family) and Manual View Systems (Starrett HVR Flip, Starrett KMR, and Vision Engineering Swift)

Basic training for new users is typically two hours and group size is limited to three users.  The format is hands on to ensure user’s have the best learning experience.  Content will cover:

  • Power up
  • Changing lenses
  • Use of lighting
  • Use of edge tools
  • Feature measurements
  • Dimensional reporting and GD&T functions
  • Creating simple programs

Advanced content can be covered in one to two extra hours depending on options in your system.  Sample advanced content includes:

  • Profile fitting
  • Reporting
  • Screw Thread option
  • FOV (Field of View) functions
  • CNC Programming
  • Reporting into QC CALC

Metologix M3 training for Vision systems (Starrett AVR, MVR, Vision Engineering Hawk, TVM and LVC series)

Basic training for new users is typically two days and group size is limited to three users.  The format is hands on to ensure user’s have the best learning experience.  Content will cover:

  • Power up
  • Use of lighting
  • Use of edge tools
  • Feature measurements
  • Dimensional reporting and GD&T functions
  • Creating and editing CNC programs
  • Reporting into QC Calc

Advanced content can be covered in one extra day depending on options in your system.  Sample advanced content includes:

  • Profile fitting
  • Screw Thread option
  • FOV (Field of View) functions
  • Touch Probe
