ZONE3 Metrology Software represents a totally new way of working with multisensor measurement systems. Its built-in 3D animations clearly display relationships between parts, sensors, datum alignments, and machine tooling. ZONE3 uses CAD models and other innovative features to automatically and effortlessly generate measurement routines. Truly 3D CAD enabled, ZONE3 is easy to use and can be learned with a minimum of training.

• Accepts all kinds of CAD models - in native format. Able to generate form plots (i.e. roundness, flatness, cylindricity, etc.), plus graphical deviations shown from the CAD model.
• Load multiple CAD models if your project desires it, for example a fixture model and a part model.
• Programming is fast and easy with the "Apply to Similar" feature, which copies the steps for similar features in the CAD model to all instances.
• Ability to program from a 3D solid model or 2D DXF file.
• Full alignment capabilities like a CMM software package. Meaning you can setup a coordinate system using 3 planes, plane and 2 lines. etc. Plus the ability to translate, rotate and recall coordinate systems.

• Full GD&T capability just the like the SmartProfile software package you are using. So if you are familiar with the SmartProfile software on how it evaluates GD&T, Zone 3 follows this same principle.

• OGP Smartscopes with Zone3 achieve ISO 25178 standards for measurement of surface roughness using non-contact sensors. Non-contact measurement of roughness provides advantages in speed, reliability, and accessibility.
