Description
De-Warp from GOM
How do you compensate for warp without a constraint fixture? Often sheet metal and plastic molded parts deviate from correct form after production. Attempts to evaluate often include a mechanical constraint or fixture to “bend” back into net shape. However that is not always possible, or can lead to un-reliable results. The innovative solution from GOM 3D Scanners is the new De-Warp module.
De-Warp compensates deformities using complex algorithms and virtual clamping points you determine. Now inspectors can 3D scan a sample part in the free state and obtain meaningful results. Tool and die adjustments will take fewer iterations. And a manufacturing process can be tuned without expensive clamping fixtures and guess work.
Faster With Projectile Templates
GOM Inspect Pro uses a basic parametric concept. This way you can trace and transfer all process steps in your project. Speed up your inspection – e.g. by using project templates – thus allowing for faster and very easy evaluations of identical components.
Customize your software
The Python interface captures, saves and edits all operations performed in GOM Inspect Pro. In addition, the GOM software offers fast and simplified data access for complex scientific computations using Python.
Control and plan automated measurements
Thanks to the extra software module Virtual Measuring Room (VMR), you can plan and execute automatic measurement procedures in GOM Inspect Pro without any robotics skills.
Optimize individual processes
Change the GOM Inspect Pro settings to accommodate your needs and use specific features for your metrology workflow. Popular features:
- Trend analysis
- Digital assembly
- or Virtual Clamping
You can also add expert features from the GOM packages to your software.
