MicroRidge designs and manufactures a broad range of wired and wireless measurement collection solutions, including MobileCollect wireless, GageWay interfaces, and WedgeLink hardware and software keyboard wedges. Measurement collection is what they do from wired to wireless. MicroRidge doesn't manufacture gages but they support gages from a wide variety of manufacturers. Their products are made in the USA and support the broadest range of digital & RS-232 gages, digital indicators, micrometers, height gages, scales, etc. as well as all SPC software
GageWay
GageWay interfaces connect one or more digital gages and serial devices to a single computer port using physical connecting cables. They can transfer gage data into any Windows program or SPC/data acquisition software, and are an excellent option for situations where gage mobility is not a requirement.
GageWay interfaces support a wide range of digital gages and serial devices from manufacturers including Mitutoyo, Mahr Federal, Ono Sokki, Fowler, INSIZE, Starrett, Sylvac, Ohaus, Mettler Toledo, etc. Measurements are sent using a gage cable “send” button, an optional foot or hand switch, or by software command.
GageWay Pro
GageWay Pro models are designed to connect two or more digital and serial gages to a computer. Gage data can be sent to spreadsheets, databases, dedicated SPC programs, statistical programs, or “cloud” applications without external software or adapter cables.
GageWay Pro interfaces are powered by your computer when using either of the two USB output ports. Quickly set up each gage for single, multiple, continuous, or TIR read mode using the GageWay Pro Setup Program. Connect an external foot or hand switch for each gage device, or use a single switch to control all devices.
MobileCollect
MobileCollect makes it easier to bring your gage to what is being measured, rather than bringing what is being measured to your gage. Collect measurements with handheld gages (calipers, digital indicators, micrometers, etc.) and other instruments, and send wirelessly to your PC.
MobileCollect gives you the greatest range of options and flexibility for configuring your wireless measurement collection. MobileCollect supports a wide range of digital gages and RS-232 devices from manufacturers including Mitutoyo, Mahr Federal, Ono Sokki, Fowler, INSIZE, Starrett, Sylvac, Ohaus, Mettler Toledo, etc. and our own GageWay line of interfaces.
A MobileCollect wireless system consists of Mobile Modules and/or Remotes (transmitters) and Bases (receivers). With MobileCollect you can also choose from several Mobile Module, Remote, and Base options to fit your gaging and measurement collection requirements.
Mobile Module Transmitters
Mobile Modules are battery powered transmitters. Used, when you need the mobility, to capture measurements from digital & RS-232 gages and send data to a Base (receiver).
Remote Transmitters
Remotes are transmitters powered by an external AC adapter. Used, when you don't need the mobility, to capture measurements from digital gages and RS-232 devices and send data to a Base (receiver).
Base Receivers
Bases are receivers. Bases accept measurements from Mobile Modules and Remotes (transmitters) and transfer the measurement data to your PC, laptop or tablet.
